Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Permanent Teacher to join our team at York Catholic District School Board. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach and develop curriculum for students in a designated subject area
  • Develop and implement lesson plans to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices
Requirements
  • Valid Ontario Teaching Certificate
  • Additional Qualification in Religious Education, Part 1
  • Experience working with students in a similar age group and subject area
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
