Key Responsibilities- Establish and Implement Operational Procedures: Develop and implement effective methods to meet work schedules, requisition food and kitchen supplies, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Supervise and Train Staff: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and hire food service staff.
- Ensure Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Manage Inventory and Supplies: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Develop and Implement Training Programs: Develop and implement training programs for staff, including training in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
- Monitor and Report Performance: Monitor staff performance, and report any issues or concerns to management.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and ability to work under pressure.
