About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Landscape Labourer to join our team at All Season Tree Service. As a key member of our outdoor maintenance team, you will be responsible for assisting with landscape constructions, tying and securing plants, and performing various other tasks related to lawn care and grounds maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including planting, pruning, and trimming trees and plants.
  • Tie and secure plants to ensure stability and safety.
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain a well-manicured appearance.
  • Cut grass and rake and collect refuse to keep the work site clean and tidy.
  • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials as needed.
  • Lay sod or seed to create a lush and vibrant landscape.
  • Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance the beauty of our outdoor spaces.
  • Apply fertilizers to promote healthy plant growth.
  • Repair and maintain equipment to ensure it is in good working order.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to keep them healthy and thriving.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including chain saws, sod cutters, and sprayers.
  • Perform snow maintenance operations, including handling snowmaking and snow removal equipment.
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to operate equipment safely and effectively.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including cold, wet, and hot temperatures.
  • Availability to work a 40-hour week.
