Job Summary

PB13 Trucking Inc. is seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country in a safe and efficient manner.

Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment, performing emergency roadside repairs as needed.
  • Logistics: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Cargo Security: Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo during transportation.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of transportation, including driver logbooks, inspection reports, and maintenance records.
Requirements
  • Licenses and Certifications: Possess a valid Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi-trailer trucks) and Air Brake (Z) Endorsement.
  • Education and Experience: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and willingness to train.
  • Work Environment: Willingness to relocate and adapt to changing work conditions, including overtime and physically demanding tasks.
Working Conditions
  • Physical Demands: Ability to handle heavy loads, work in a fast-paced environment, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Work Schedule: 35 to 40 hours per week, with flexibility to adapt to changing work demands.
