Operating Room Nurse

Humber River Health is seeking a skilled Registered Practical Nurse to join our dynamic team in the Operating Room, Surgical Program.
Job Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Registered Practical Nurse to work in our Operating Room. The successful candidate will be responsible for scrubbing duties and functioning as part of the surgical team.
Responsibilities:- Scrubbing duties
- Functions as part of the surgical team
- Graduate from a recognized Registered Practical Nursing two year diploma program.
- Current RPN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Current BCLS certification.
- Operating Room Certificate required and 2 years recent operating room experience preferred.
- Demonstrated scrubbing competence in all surgical services.
- Demonstrated good organizational skills and problem solving skills required.
- Demonstrated good interpersonal skills with an ability to work well with a variety of staff, patients and visitors.
- Excellent attendance and discipline free record required.
