About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team at 1207940 B.C. LTD. as a key member of our site operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials with precision and efficiency.
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt to meet project specifications.
  • Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction and assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications and pave and rake asphalt to ensure a smooth finish.
  • Assist in demolishing buildings and clean and pile salvaged materials for reuse.
  • Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants and remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction to maintain productivity and efficiency.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, handling heavy loads, and performing repetitive tasks. Manual dexterity and physical stamina are essential for success in this position.

  • Reliability and a strong work ethic are essential for this role.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Will train on the job for those without prior experience.
  • Permanent employment opportunity with 30-40 hours of work per week.
