About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at S & S GORAYA LTD. as a Logistics Specialist. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer and transporting goods and materials across various routes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Route Planning and Execution: Plan and adjust routes based on changing conditions to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Loading and Unloading: Load and unload goods safely and efficiently.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Documentation: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Cargo Security: Ensure the safety and security of cargo through tarping and other measures.
Requirements
  • AZ class license
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Proficiency in GPS and other navigation equipment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 40-hour workweek. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.
