Job Title: Food Processing Quality Control Technician

Riverside Natural Foods Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Food Processing Quality Control Technician to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our food processing operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct or assist in air and water quality testing to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Perform tests and analysis using various physical and chemical separation techniques to identify and resolve quality issues.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure it is calibrated and functioning properly.
  • Compile records for analytical studies and provide data-driven insights to inform quality improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and implement Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Assist in developing programs of sampling and analysis to maintain quality standards.
  • Compile records and interpret experimental or analytical results to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and conduct safety training programs to ensure employee awareness and compliance with safety protocols.
  • Develop manufacturing and processing procedures to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Develop and carry out health, safety, and fire prevention plans to mitigate risks and ensure a safe work environment.
  • Collect and analyze data and samples to inform quality improvement initiatives.
  • Collect and compile operational or experimental data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Safe Quality Foods (SQF) Certificate.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Experience in food processing and quality control.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting.
