Gwillimdale Farms Ltd. is seeking a skilled Agricultural Labourer to join our team. As a key member of our farm operations, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth running of our farm.

Key Responsibilities
  • Field Work: Apply the technique of hoeing between the rows, clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens, and other work areas, clear fields of wood and stones, pack fruits and vegetables, and weed.
  • Machinery Operation: Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, including farm trucks, tractors, planting equipment, tillage equipment, and hand tools.
  • Crop Management: Examine product for quality and its readiness for the market, fertilize and spray crops, and harvest crops.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on farm equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar field is an asset.
  • Physical Demands: The job requires standing for extended periods, handling heavy loads, and working in various weather conditions.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
