Bar Attendant

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Bar Back to join our team at Alchemy. As a Bar Back, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our bar, providing exceptional service to our guests, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional service to guests, responding to their needs in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist bartenders with polishing and organizing glassware, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Learn and carry out the proper opening and closing procedures of the bar, ensuring a seamless experience for guests.
- Proactively check and maintain beer keg and liquor levels, ensuring a well-stocked bar at all times.
- Assist the FOH team with food running and interact with guests with enthusiasm, providing a warm and welcoming experience.
- Perform other duties as assigned or required, contributing to the overall success of the team.
Requirements:
- Smart Serve Certification is a requirement for this role.
- High attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure, working in a fast-paced environment.
- Organizational skills, with the ability to take direction and prioritize tasks.
- Strong oral communication skills, with the ability to interact with guests and colleagues in a professional manner.
- High level of product knowledge, with the ability to maintain a level of professional urgency and momentum.
