Ansys is seeking a skilled R&D Verification Specialist to join our validation team. As a key member of our product creation team, you will conduct software testing of ANSYS applications such as OpticStudio and its add-in modules.
Key Responsibilities:- Specify and write test cases, create, modify and update existing tests, write and maintain test scripts
- Perform functional and regression testing in manual and automated test environments
- Verify defect fixes and write software defect reports
- Create test plans, participate in defect management and testing metrics
You will work closely with other members of the product creation team and communicate with technical specialists on product issues. A solid foundation in optical physics, familiarity with software validation and testing, and experience using Python (and/or MATLAB) for computational analysis and/or modeling are essential.
