Roofing Specialist

At Paradise Construction, we are seeking a skilled Roofing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our construction crew, you will be responsible for installing and repairing roofs on various types of buildings.
Key Responsibilities:- Install or replace asphalt shingles, wood shingles, and shakes, as well as masonry or baked clay roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings.
- Instruct apprentices and supervise other workers to ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces below or above ground level.
- Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools.
- Estimate costs and materials for roofing projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installation.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the roofing industry.
- Excellent oral communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Reliability and dependability in meeting deadlines and working independently.
- 35 hours per week.
- Permanent employment.
- English language proficiency.
