About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Carpentry and Construction Specialist to join our team at SNS Construction Inc. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful completion of various construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Estimation
    • Develop detailed project plans and estimates to ensure timely and within-budget completion of construction projects.
  • Carpentry and Construction
    • Prepare and install building frameworks, including walls, floors, and roofs.
    • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.
    • Install doors, windows, stairs, moldings, and hardware.
  • Site Management
    • Supervise and coordinate the work of other construction workers.
    • Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and company standards.
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and other construction professionals.
    • Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in carpentry and construction.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Excellent knowledge of carpentry and construction techniques and materials.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
    • Physical stamina to perform manual labor.
