About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Painter Specialist to join our team at Right-A-Way Construction. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finishes on our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Repair cracks and holes in walls and ceilings, and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Painting and Finishing: Mix paint to the desired color and texture, and apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces.
  • Estimation and Planning: Estimate costs and materials required for each project, and plan and coordinate with the team to ensure timely completion.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate airless spray equipment and roller painting tools to achieve professional-grade finishes.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the construction industry.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work at heights, and exposure to odors and other environmental factors.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding role requiring ability to distinguish between colors and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work Conditions: Permanent position with 40 hours per week, and English as the primary language of communication.
