Position Overview: The Voice Infrastructure Specialist plays a crucial role in managing and maintaining the existing on-premise voice systems, including Avaya, Oracle SBC, and Cisco gateways, along with various third-party applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and nurture relationships with internal business clients and IT technical teams.
- Demonstrate expertise in Session Border Control Protocol.
- Possess strong knowledge of the Avaya Contact Center platform, focusing on troubleshooting and system design.
- Oversee the maintenance, configuration, daily operations, and patching of core Avaya Aura products, including System Manager, Session Manager, Communication Manager, Media Server, Application Enablement (AES), and IX Messaging.
- Support Contact Center Platform Services Engineering initiatives for project-related and ongoing operations support for voice communication services.
- Maintain and troubleshoot Avaya media servers and G450 within a distributed voice network that encompasses multiple call centers.
- Participate in a 24/7 operational support rotation.
- Deploy and configure Avaya One-X applications and physical phones.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with contact center technology platforms, specifically Avaya and/or Oracle SBC products.
- 3+ years of experience in complex dial plan configuration in Session Manager and Communication Manager.
- Strong skills in Contact Center Configuration, including Vectoring, VDN, Skills, Variables, System configuration, ARS Table, Routing Plan, Service hours tables, CMS Supervisor, and Moves, Adds, and changes.
- Operational knowledge of IP protocols for delivering RTP payloads to hard and/or softphone stations in a contact center environment.
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP network technologies, including routing/switching, DNS, DHCP, Firewall/ACL, X.509 Certificate, and QoS (Quality of Service).
