We are seeking dynamic students to join our pharmacy team at CIUSSS du Centre-Ouest-de-l'Île-de-Montréal. As a pharmacy technician trainee, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the department's mission and work alongside experienced professionals.

About the Role

As a pharmacy technician trainee, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the inventory of medications (receipt, rotation, storage);
  • Distributing medications and conditioning them according to established procedures;
  • Preparing medications in batches and supporting senior pharmacy technicians in providing services;
  • Delivering prepared medications to healthcare units;
  • Assisting senior pharmacy technicians in sterile and non-sterile preparation processes;
  • Maintaining equipment and filling out various records;
  • Accompanying senior pharmacy technicians in data collection from users under the supervision of a pharmacist;

Requirements

To be eligible for this role, you must be enrolled in the pharmacy technician program and have completed your first year.
