Retail Store Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at 0919984 BC Ltd.
Job Summary:The Retail Store Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a high level of sales performance.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they are adequately trained and equipped to provide exceptional customer service.
- Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for their training, to ensure they meet our high standards.
- Authorize payments by cheque and manage cash handling procedures.
- Order merchandise and manage inventory levels to meet customer demand.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that all staff members are aware of their responsibilities.
- Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of workers, including cashiers, grocery clerks, and shelf stockers.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
- Resolve customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise.
- Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that stock levels are adequate and that products are displayed attractively.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
The Retail Store Supervisor will work in a retail environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and maintaining a high level of sales performance.
Language:The primary language of work is English.
Hours of Work:The Retail Store Supervisor will work 32 to 40 hours per week.
Work Term:This is a permanent position.
