About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Dry Cleaning Technician to join our team at Nimpo Lake Resort Ltd. as a key member of our hotel laundry department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mix and add detergents, dyes, bleaches, starches, and other solutions and chemicals to clean and process laundry.
  • Hand fold and bag shirts, sheets, and other articles to ensure they are properly prepared for storage or distribution.
  • Hand iron laundered fine linens or dry-cleaned silk garments to achieve a high level of quality and presentation.
  • Operate finishing equipment such as steam pressers and use hand irons to finish pants, jackets, shirts, skirts, and other dry cleaned and laundered articles.
  • Assemble and bag finished articles to ensure they are properly packaged and ready for distribution.
  • Check finished dry-cleaned or laundered articles to ensure that they meet our establishment's high standards.
  • Match invoices or tags with dry-cleaned or laundered articles to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Record damage or improper cleaning or laundering of articles to maintain quality control and improve processes.
  • Use hand-held steam irons to touch up finished garments and other articles to ensure they meet our high standards.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • The role requires standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks, making it a physically demanding position.
  • The work environment is fast-paced and requires attention to detail to ensure high-quality results.
