Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Delivery Driver/Helper to join our team at Sleep Country Canada/Dormez-vous?. As a key member of our Operations team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our delivery services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Products with Excellence: Safely operate our automatic 5-ton trucks and deliver products to customers' homes in a professional, friendly, and enthusiastic manner.
  • Collaborate with the Team: Work together with other team members to alternate between driving and helping capacities, ensuring seamless delivery operations.
  • Operate Company Vehicles: Safely operate our automatic 5-ton trucks and handle and assemble products into customers' homes while following all health and safety procedures.
  • Complete Administrative Tasks: Complete required paperwork for each delivery and maintain accurate records.
  • Contribute to Team Success: Work together with the Operations team to exceed goals and expectations, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Driver's License: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Physical Ability: Physical ability to lift and move large items up to 88lbs (40kg).
  • Availability: Ability to work a flexible shift, including evenings and weekends.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Think quickly and be able to tackle problems in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience: Experience operating a 5-ton vehicle or larger is considered an asset, as is experience working within a warehouse or delivery environment.
