Job Title: Senior Estimator

RTR Terra Contracting Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimator to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Estimator to lead our estimating team and provide expert cost estimates for commercial and industrial construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects
  • Develop and maintain relationships with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors
  • Collaborate with the estimating team to ensure timely and accurate estimates
  • Conduct site visits to gather information and assess project requirements
  • Prepare and present estimates to clients and stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in estimating for commercial and industrial construction projects
  • Strong knowledge of estimating software and systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field an asset
