About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Service Technician to join our team. As an Automotive Service Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, adjusting, repairing or replacing parts and components of automotive systems, and performing scheduled maintenance service.

Responsibilities
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed
  • Coach and instruct apprentices
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the automotive industry
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • English or French language proficiency
Work Environment

This is a green job that contributes to environmental preservation, conservation, and restoration. You will work in a garage environment with dusty, dirty, and noisy conditions.
