Job Title: Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Our Hamlet Childcare. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and engaging environment for our young learners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers with care and attention to their needs.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for our children, including daycare equipment and supplies.
  • Assist in planning and implementing programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Order supplies and equipment as needed to support our programs.
  • Assist in keeping accurate records of children's progress and development.
  • Engage children in activities that promote learning and development, such as storytelling, singing, and crafts.
  • Guide children in developing good eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
  • Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents or guardians.
  • Discuss progress and problems of children at staff meetings.
Requirements:
  • Child Development Assistant (ECE Level 1) certification.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • Basic security clearance and a criminal record check.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with repetitive tasks.
  • Excellent oral communication skills and ability to multitask.
