About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated SAP Treasury Functional Analyst to join our team at TC Energy. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for supporting the treasury functions within the SAP system, ensuring efficient and effective financial operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and document treasury business processes and requirements.
  • Collaborate with IT and finance teams to implement and maintain SAP treasury modules.
  • Provide functional support for treasury operations, including cash management, liquidity planning, financial risk management, and critical systems integration.
  • Develop and maintain treasury-related reports and dashboards.
  • Conduct system testing and support user training for treasury applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to treasury systems and processes.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in treasury projects and initiatives to enhance system functionality and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of relevant experience.
  • Proven experience as a functional analyst in treasury or financial systems.
  • Strong understanding of treasury operations and financial instruments.
  • Proficiency in SAP or similar treasury management systems.
  • Strong proficiency and awareness of sophisticated integration finance and treasury processes that involved integrated systems across our broader SAP landscape.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA or other ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Support and troubleshooting experience with systems like Bloomberg, Vertex, and banking system interfaces.
