Key Responsibilities

  • Project a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers
  • Sort, collect, and deliver mail items in a safe and timely manner
  • Acquire and maintain knowledge of local infrastructure, including roads, customers, and delivery receptacles
  • Ensure mail is securely stored in your possession
  • Process various CPC products and services, including Change of Address Notification, Damaged Mail, and Items Delivered Bill (IDB)
  • Wear Canada Post identification while on delivery and ensure its visibility
  • Lift and carry items up to 50 lb/22.7 kg
  • Operate a motor vehicle in various weather and traffic conditions

Requirements

  • Have a satisfactory safe driving record
  • Possess a valid permanent provincial driver's license
  • Meet the minimum cargo capacity requirements for your vehicle
  • Provide and maintain the required automobile liability insurance for the use of your vehicle
