Job Overview

Ghobash Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer to join our team. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying software solutions that meet the needs of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Software Development
    • Design, develop, and deploy software solutions using MS.NET, C#, MS SQL Server, and other relevant technologies.
    • Participate in continuous discovery of customer/business needs/desires/problems to drive desired outcomes.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize software development projects.
  • Technical Leadership
    • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior software developers.
    • Participate in optimization of software development practices to improve team efficiency and productivity.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the team is equipped with the latest skills and knowledge.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand business requirements and provide technical solutions.
    • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of software solutions.
    • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and maintainability.
Requirements
  • Technical Skills
    • Strong experience with MS.NET, C#, MS SQL Server, and other relevant technologies.
    • Good understanding of SQL fundamentals, T-SQL, stored procedures, and optimizing database applications for high scale and low latency.
    • Experience with IIS Web Server Configuration and Deployment.
  • Soft Skills
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
    • Ability to adapt quickly to an existing complex environment and learn new concepts and software.
    • Self-motivated, independent, detail-oriented, and responsible team-player with exceptional relationship management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Additional Technical Skills
    • Experience with Apache Tomcat, Web Sphere, JBOSS Web Server Configuration and Deployment.
    • Experience with SSL Certificate Implementation.
    • Experience with Financial Software & Payment Related Software Implementation.
  • Education and Certifications
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
    • Relevant certifications such as MCSD or MCTS.
