About the Role

As an Engine Technician-Mobile Response Team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Adhere to Bombardier's General Work Requirements, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Comply with environmental health and safety policies, participating in 5-S activities and performing tasks in a timely manner.
  • Remove, install, and replace aircraft engines and accessories, as well as assist with complete engine runs.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, install, inspect, and perform maintenance on customer aircraft, adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Inspect incoming parts and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Assist in other maintenance disciplines, including Avionics, Structures, and Composites.
  • Operate ground support equipment as required and assist with mechanical and electrical removals and installations.
  • Return aircraft to service after maintenance at off-site locations and act as a shipping and receiving agent for parts.
  • Provide time estimates and audit your location and truck monthly.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including creating service orders with SAP and performing Delegated Inspector functions.
Requirements
  • A&P Certificate
  • Minimum 3 years of aircraft maintenance work experience or substantiated equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years' experience on corporate jet aircraft
  • Minimum 1 year of Bombardier aircraft model experience
  • Ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings
  • Effective and accurate communication skills in written and verbal form
  • Basic set of hand tools and ability to demonstrate inventory and control
  • Ability to work unscheduled overtime, including nonscheduled workdays and holidays
  • Ability to work in seasonal and inclement weather outside
  • Ability to travel with 2 hours' notice, including extended assignments lasting up to 30 days
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships
  • Valid driver's license and ability to maintain insurable status
  • Ability to work unsupervised and alone
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to obtain appropriate certification for Ground Support Equipment Qualifications
  • Valid passport and ability to travel internationally
  • Ability to obtain a Security Identification Display Area badge (SIDA)
  • Ability to obtain a Bombardier Corporate Credit Card and maintain good standing
  • Previous experience in Customer Relations with emphasis on customer-facing interactions
  • Experience with aircraft return to service and inspection procedures
  • Ability to train other employees
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Strong planning and organization skills
