UI/UX Designer Job Description

Our client, a leading financial institution in Canada, is seeking a skilled UI/UX Designer to join their team for an initial 6-month contract with potential for extension or conversion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop best-in-class digital experiences for the Bank's Direct Investing app, iTrade.
  • Translate customer feedback, stakeholder insights, and analytics into actionable design improvements.
  • Apply expertise in Material Design 3 and Apple's Human Interface Guidelines to create intuitive, user-centric designs.
  • Develop a deep understanding of typography, grid systems, visual hierarchy, and color theory to produce aesthetically pleasing and functional designs.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of recent professional experience with iOS and Android mobile app product design.
  • Experience working on at least one native mobile product.
  • Formal design education required.
  • Strong demonstrated experience with visual design/UI and animation.
