With a diverse data environment that spans both on-premises and cloud solutions, this role requires comprehensive technical knowledge throughout the entire business intelligence lifecycle—from identifying key business inquiries to crafting data architectures and developing high-quality dashboards. You will play a pivotal role in steering agile product initiatives, collaborating with business units to comprehend their operational landscape and how data can enhance their capabilities through intuitive business intelligence solutions. Your commitment to product excellence is paramount, and you take pride in delivering BI solutions that empower the organization to better assess and manage its performance.

The ideal candidate will exhibit a strong desire to cultivate a team of skilled data professionals and business analysts; possess an analytical mindset, be proactive, thrive in uncertain environments, pay attention to detail, and have a passion for working in a dynamic, cross-functional setting. A genuine interest in leveraging insights to drive business performance is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and enforce the MicroStrategy framework and guidelines for the development team.
  • Manage the object library to facilitate reusability for the team.
  • Lead and supervise the technical architecture of business intelligence solutions.
  • Oversee the deployment of Business Intelligence solutions utilizing MicroStrategy and Power BI.
  • Ensure effective planning, prioritization, and management of project delivery by coordinating team activities and assisting members in meeting their objectives.
  • Spearhead the prototyping of new or enhanced presentation layers for business intelligence applications.
  • Collaborate with IT to optimize backend architecture and data models to enhance overall system performance and user experience.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in crafting the MicroStrategy framework and principles for development teams.
  • Expertise in managing object libraries for ease of reuse.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and oversee technical designs for business intelligence solutions.
  • Experience in implementing Business Intelligence solutions with MicroStrategy and Power BI.
  • Strong organizational skills in planning, prioritizing, and managing project delivery.
  • Ability to prototype new or evolving builds of presentation layers for business intelligence.
  • Experience partnering with IT to optimize backend architecture and data models.
