Patersongrain is seeking a highly skilled Grain and Bulk Loadout Operator to join our team at our state-of-the-art oat mill in North America. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient loading of grain products onto railcars and trucks.
Key Responsibilities- Loadout Operations: Conduct vessel inspections of railcars and trucks to ensure food quality products meet specifications.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform minor maintenance on equipment as required, manage samples, and operate Track-mobile to position railcars for loading.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Complete required documentation and maintain accurate records of loadout operations.
- Team Collaboration: Assist other members of the Mill and outside sanitation team with day-to-day tasks and responsibilities.
- Facility Maintenance: Maintain the bulk loadout building in a clean and compliant state with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements.
- Certifications and Licenses: Ability to operate and/or acquire certifications, licenses, etc. in the safe operation of railcars and other related equipment.
- Industry Knowledge: Knowledge and previous experience of plant processing/grain handling operations, including bulk load out systems.
- Work Environment: Ability to work in a grain processing environment that exposes staff to allergens such as grain dust.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
- Attention to Detail: High attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping.
- Organization and Time Management: Strong organization skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical Demands: Ability to work at elevated heights and in confined spaces, as well as in an outside environment with exposure to weather extremes.
