As a key member of our procurement department, you will be responsible for planning and controlling budget and expenditures, developing and implementing purchasing policies and procedures, and overseeing the evaluation of the cost and quality of goods or services.
Key Responsibilities- Procurement Planning: Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business objectives, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
- Contract Management: Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Supplier Evaluation: Conduct thorough evaluations of suppliers to ensure they meet our quality and cost standards.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the management of inventory levels, ensuring that stock is properly stored, handled, and disposed of.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze reports on procurement activities, providing insights to senior management on procurement trends and opportunities.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
- Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
This is a permanent, full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring strong organizational and time management skills.
