Job Title: Automotive Mechanic Helper

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Automotive Mechanic Helper to join our team at Brantford Chevrolet Buick GMC Cadillac Inc. As a key member of our service department, you will assist our technicians with various tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of our workshop.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist technicians with tool handling, equipment movement, and material transportation.
  • Signal safety procedures to colleagues and the public, promoting a safe working environment.
  • Provide support to tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed by supervisors.
  • Clean machines and work areas, maintaining a tidy and organized workspace.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work in a noisy and dusty environment.
  • Manual dexterity and physical stamina for tasks involving heavy loads.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Dependability, flexibility, and initiative.
