About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Taper to join our team at GS Drywall Ltd. as a key member of our installation team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cut and Install Metal Corner Beads: Protect exterior corners of buildings by installing metal corner beads.
  • Filling and Smoothing: Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife, and smooth out excess compound.
  • Drywall Installation: Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets, positioning and securing them to metal or wooden studs or joists.
  • Work Environment: Work in various locations, including construction sites and warehouses.
  • Work Schedule: Work a regular 30-35 hour workweek, with a permanent work term.
  • Language: English is the primary language used in the workplace.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • 1-2 years of experience in drywall installation or a related field is preferred.
