Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Printing Press Operator to join our team at Helix Impressions Inc. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our flexographic press equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Press Equipment: Mount plates or cylinders, make necessary adjustments, and ensure optimal print quality.
  • Plan and Coordinate Production: Prepare production schedules, estimate costs, and plan production methods to meet customer demands.
  • Supervise and Train: Instruct apprentices and direct press crew to set up, operate, and shut down press equipment.
  • Quality Control: Monitor regular press runs for quality using computer control consoles and remove and clean plates and cylinders at the end of each run.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Skills: Steel-toed safety boots, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong attention to detail.
