Family Caregiver

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Family Caregiver to join our team at NaLa - private home. As a Family Caregiver, you will provide essential care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.
Responsibilities- Personal Care: Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Companionship: Provide emotional support and engage in conversations to combat loneliness.
- Household Duties: Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation.
- Exercise and Mobility: Assist with regular exercise, such as walking, and provide support with mobility.
- Nutrition: Prepare and serve nutritious meals to ensure our clients' dietary needs are met.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field or equivalent.
- Work Setting: Urban area, working in the employer's/client's home.
- Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
- Personal Suitability: Dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, organized, reliability, patience, and honesty.
We offer support for social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees, including facilitating access to community resources, language training, and skills training.
Support for YouthsWe provide mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for youth.
Work Details- Work Language: English or French.
- Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
