POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a Food Service Associate for Tim Hortons, dedicated to providing exceptional service in a vibrant environment. This role involves a variety of responsibilities aimed at enhancing the dining experience for our guests. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing knowledgeable responses to inquiries regarding menu items, beverages, and catering services.
  • Assisting in the timely delivery of food to designated events, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
  • Maintaining cleanliness in assigned areas, ensuring a tidy and organized workspace.
  • Collaborating with team members to optimize seating arrangements and service flow.
  • Demonstrating a proactive approach to cleanliness and organization throughout the service area.
  • Ensuring condiments are adequately stocked and pre-portioned for guest convenience.
  • Monitoring the quality and presentation of food items served.
  • Adhering to all food safety regulations and protocols.
  • Managing waste disposal and maintaining a clean environment.
  • Communicating guest feedback to the service team to enhance overall satisfaction.
  • Performing additional tasks as needed to support the team.

Candidate Profile

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in food service is advantageous, though not mandatory as training will be provided.
  • Strong communication skills in English are essential.
  • Basic proficiency in computer systems for point-of-sale and payroll functions is required.
  • Ability to make sound decisions independently when necessary.
  • Competence in addressing practical challenges and adapting to varying situations.
