About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Food Processing Labourer to join our team at MadeFresh Foods Inc. in a manufacturing and industrial plant setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure food safety and handling practices are followed at all times.
  • Measure and dump ingredients into hoppers of mixing and grinding machines, ensuring accurate quantities and quality.
  • Manually pack goods into bags and boxes or other containers, maintaining a high level of quality and efficiency.
  • Feed and unload processing machines, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Conduct regular checks on products and packaging for basic quality defects, reporting any issues to supervisors.
  • Assist process control and machine operators in performing their duties, providing support and guidance as needed.
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with repetitive tasks and standing for extended periods.
  • Utilize hand-eye coordination and attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Occasionally lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and perform tasks that require physical stamina.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with colleagues.
  • Basic math skills and ability to follow instructions.
