Teaching Opportunity in French Immersion

We are seeking a qualified French Immersion Specialist to join our team at W. L. McLeod Elementary School in Vanderhoof, BC.

Job Summary

This is a 1.0 Limited Duration Specialist Position, commencing October 1, 2024, and ending June 30, 2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching French Immersion students and contributing to the school's educational community.

Responsibilities
  • Teach French Immersion students in a dynamic and engaging learning environment
  • Develop and implement curriculum that meets the needs of French Immersion students
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support student learning and achievement
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices
Requirements

Applicants must have a strong background in French Immersion education and a valid teaching certification. The successful candidate will be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

What We Offer
