Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately interpret welding procedure specifications from blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Proficiently operate manual, semi-automatic, and fully automatic welding equipment to ensure high-quality welds.
  • Execute structural steel welding projects adhering to stringent NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) requirements.
  • Perform heavy equipment repairs on large excavators, dozers, and loader buckets, demonstrating expertise in various welding techniques.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve project goals within established timelines and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in industrial construction or a recognized equivalent International Trade Qualification combined with education, designations, and Red Seal certification.
  • Possess a valid CWB-SMAW certification, demonstrating proficiency in Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW).
  • A Class 5 Driver's License is considered an asset but not mandatory.
  • Demonstrate strong teamwork and communication skills, effectively conveying technical information to colleagues.
  • Exhibit meticulous attention to detail, a commitment to quality workmanship, and a willingness to learn new techniques.

Expected Wage Range: $32.91-$46.87 per hour
