About the Role

Synopsys, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Architect to join our Software Integrity Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing secure operating environments, including traditional on-premises, virtual, and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and Implement Secure Architectures: Define enterprise network and cloud security architectures, including on-premises and SaaS solutions, while considering scalability, reliability, maintainability, interoperability, and supportability.
  2. Review and Provide Feedback: Review designs involving security controls such as authentication, authorization, data protection, encryption, secrets management, etc.
  3. Provide Security Mentorship: Provide enterprise security mentorship and thought leadership for software engineers in product teams to educate them on security needs and solutions.
Qualifications
  1. Leadership and Technical Expertise: Strong leadership, technical, and business acumen, with 7+ years of experience defining secure operating environments.
  2. Cloud and SaaS Experience: Experience designing complex SaaS application and deployment architectures, as well as cloud databases and application-level encryption.
  3. Security Knowledge: Strong knowledge of IT, network, and cloud vulnerabilities and security controls, including standards and controls necessary to maintain security and compliance obligations.
  4. DevOps and Automation: Experience with DevOps and SaaS, and an understanding of how to use modern automation, build, and orchestration technology to accelerate time to value for customers in public and private cloud environments.
  5. Communication and Leadership Skills: Excellent communication and technical leadership skills, with the ability to learn quickly and independently in a complex technical environment.
  6. Education: A Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering.
