Software Development Engineer: Entry-Level Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Development Engineer to join our team at Plunge. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and shipping software to production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop software solutions using a variety of programming languages, including Javascript, TypeScript, and Python.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
- Develop and maintain high-quality software code, following industry best practices and standards.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and maintainability.
- Collaborate with QA engineers to identify and resolve defects.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our software development processes.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
- Experience as a generalist, working on both the frontend, backend, and anything it takes to solve problems fast.
- Proficiency in languages commonly used across the web, including Javascript, TypeScript, and Python.
- Knowledge of React, NextJs, ability to rapidly navigate RESTFul APIs and GraphQL, alongside SQL and NoSQL databases is a plus.
- Strong track record in leading and driving projects to the finish line, even under ambiguity.
- Strongly passionate about building and owning a product from end to end.
