Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mechanic Maintenance Class B to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and machinery.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance tasks on equipment and machinery, identifying and reporting any issues or defects.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to develop and implement effective maintenance strategies, ensuring optimal equipment performance and minimizing downtime.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date with industry best practices and technologies.
- Contribute to the development of maintenance procedures and protocols, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Work closely with the operations team to identify and address any maintenance-related issues, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
Requirements
- DEP in Mechanical Engineering or related field (an asset)
- 2-5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of mechanical systems and equipment
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and principles
- Availability for occasional overtime and flexible scheduling
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on safety and quality
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
