About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at 2231220 Alberta Ltd. O/A Two Hills Clover Farm. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Journal Entry Preparation: Prepare and post journal entries to record financial transactions.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports to provide insights and recommendations to management.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
Work Environment

This is a permanent full-time position, working 35 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be expected to maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive financial information.
