About the Role

Cementation Canada is seeking a highly skilled Piping/HVAC Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering group, you will be responsible for designing and implementing safe and efficient piping and HVAC systems for our underground mining projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop piping and HVAC systems for underground mining projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop project scope, schedules, and budgets.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design reports, specifications, and drawings.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent degree.
  • Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) or equivalent.
  • Minimum 7-15 years of experience in piping and HVAC design and engineering, preferably in the mining industry.
  • Strong knowledge of piping and HVAC design software, including 3D modeling and analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
