Your Role

We are seeking a Senior Manager to become a vital part of the Technology SR&ED Consulting team, taking on the following responsibilities:

  • Oversee SR&ED client projects with a focus on the software sector while collaborating with the BDO SR&ED team nationwide.
  • Provide leadership and coordination for a team of consultants on various client projects to develop formal proposals.
  • Build, nurture, and maintain relationships with clients, establishing yourself as a trusted advisor.
  • Analyze client operations and processes by interviewing technical and financial staff to assess eligibility for government grants, tax credits, and funding opportunities. You will create the suitable funding strategy to optimize tax incentives for each client.
  • Facilitate ongoing communication among team members to monitor progress and resolve issues effectively.
  • Engage in training initiatives and contribute to the professional growth of your team.

Your Qualifications

  • You are a recognized expert and leader with over 5 years of SR&ED experience, either in the software industry or supporting software clients within a SR&ED consulting environment.
  • You are bilingual in French and English (both oral and written).
  • You possess strong technical writing abilities in both French and English.
  • You have a solid understanding of computer science and software engineering; experience in electronics, life sciences, and product development is a valuable asset.
  • Experience working with software startups and incubators is considered advantageous.
  • You value teamwork, client service, and meticulous quality in your work.
  • You demonstrate strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
