Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Ruman Holdings Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food in a fast-paced food service environment. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Supervise and train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Prepare and submit reports, and supervise and check assembly of trays.
  • Establish work schedules and supervise staff in various areas of responsibility.
Work Environment:

The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, kneel, and walk. The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail and be able to work under pressure.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
