Job Summary

Prairie South School Division No. 210 is seeking a Casual Educational Assistant to support students with diverse needs and high behavioural needs. As a key member of our educational team, you will play a vital role in creating a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support students with diverse needs and high behavioural needs in a variety of educational settings
  • Assist with lesson planning and implementation, as needed
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, students, and parents to ensure student success
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Grade 12 diploma from a recognized educational institution or General Educational Development (GED)
  • One (1) year post-secondary training related to student needs, such as Educational Assistant, Early Childhood Development, Youth Worker, or Rehabilitation Worker
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license
  • Ability to perform heavy work, including lifting students and/or moving objects
