About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Specialist to join our team at D'Theatre Restaurant and Pub. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Food Safety and Quality: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that all food is prepared and served safely and to the highest quality standards.
  • Staff Training and Development: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment as needed to ensure that the kitchen is well-stocked and that all equipment is in good working order.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment for staff and customers.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
