About The Grand Malabar Indian Cuisine Inc.

We are a reputable restaurant company that prides itself on serving authentic South Indian cuisine. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring their safety and satisfaction.
  • Kitchen Management: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Staff Training and Development: Train kitchen staff and helpers in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Cleaning and Organization: Clean kitchen and work areas, and organize buffets and banquets to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
  • Operational Management: Manage kitchen operations, including supervising kitchen staff and helpers, and making decisions to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Conditions: Physically demanding, overtime required, repetitive tasks, and work under pressure.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Hours: 30 to 44 hours per week.
