Position Overview:
Great Connections Employment Services is seeking dedicated Production Assistants to join a prominent manufacturer of artisanal bath and beauty products. This role requires individuals who thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Work Schedule:
Full-time morning shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
Compensation:
Hourly wage of $17.44, with additional shift premiums applicable.
Essential Requirements:
- Must possess CSA-approved safety footwear.
- Ability to commit to full-time hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the production of premium soap products.
- Perform precise tasks including filling and pouring liquid ingredients into molds, ensuring accurate measurements.
- Exhibit strong hand dexterity for pressing mixtures.
- Physically capable of handling heavy containers filled with liquids.
- Package products accurately and label them correctly.
- Maintain attention to detail and adapt quickly to changing tasks while collaborating with team members.
- Adhere to packing and shipping protocols as outlined by departmental guidelines.
- Support colleagues with daily responsibilities while ensuring compliance with safety and standard operating procedures.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and product rotation checks, addressing any discrepancies.
Qualifications:
- Availability for full-time shifts; students available for 3-4 months are encouraged to apply.
- Flexibility to work across various departments as needed.
- Basic mathematical skills, including counting, addition, and subtraction.
- Ability to perform physical tasks for 8-hour shifts, including standing and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
