About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Painter to join our team at Dunbar Painting Inc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship in painting and wall covering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Repair cracks and holes in walls and ceilings, and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the longevity of our work.
  • Painting and Finishing: Mix paint to the desired color and texture, and apply it to interior and exterior surfaces with precision and attention to detail.
  • Wall Covering: Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls, ensuring a seamless and professional finish.
  • Customer Service: Advise customers on colors and choice of wall coverings, providing expert guidance and recommendations.
  • Health and Safety: Erect scaffolding and swing stages, and attach rigging, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Work Environment: Outdoors and at heights.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
  • Language: English.
